Bird Talk~~sans stamens, and already dabbed with pollen.
Liege And Lief~~a handsome purple.
Zahadoom~~I think this is my most favorite ever(for now):).

Daylilies in my garden are barely putting up scapes, however my new imports are putting on an impressive show, and tiding me over till daylily blooms in July/August.

Daylily-Bird Talk

A large impressive bloom greeted me this morning. When this daylily settles in it should display a fringed edge, which to me looks somewhat feather like. Definitely hybridizing with this one!

daylily- Free Bird

This is a new aquisition this year, hybridized by Lambertson. I love it when daylilies bloom the first year that they are received:). A beautiful blue eyed pink, it will make a wonderful addition to my daylily garden. It does have a bird like pose, like a daylily in flight.It also appears to have a silver metallic edge (click to see at top left edge).

Early Early Truffle

A very pretty double daylily which is a new acquisition this year.

Texas Blue Eyes

This is the one and only bloom on this new acquisition, and I couldn't be more pleased. Pollen is dried and stored for future use this summer.
